Créée en 1979, Action contre la Faim est une organisation non gouvernementale internationale qui lutte contre la faim dans le monde. Sa charte des principes humanitaires - indépendance, neutralité, non-discrimination, accès libre et direct aux victimes, professionnalisme, transparence - fonde son identité depuis plus de 40 ans. Sa mission est de sauver des vies en éliminant la faim par la prévention, la détection et le traitement de la sous-nutrition, en particulier pendant et après les situations d'urgence liées aux conflits et aux catastrophes naturelles. Action contre la Faim coordonne ses programmes autour de 5 domaines d'activités : Nutrition et Santé - Santé Mentale, Soutien Psychosocial et Protection - Sécurité Alimentaire et Moyens d'Existence - Eau, Assainissement et Hygiène - Plaidoyer. Votre poste et vos responsabilités
Under the supervision of the Deputy Country director, you will define the Food Security and Livehood strategy of the mission and supervise its implementation. You also will provide a technical support to the team.
More precisely, you will be responsible to the following missions:
- Contribute to defining the country strategy as well as the strategy and positioning of the FSL technical department.
- Coordinate the identification of needs and the formulation of project proposals.
- Technically oversee the implementation of programs/projects
- Ensure quality and cost-effectiveness of FSL intervention at country level
- Ensure the active participation of ACF in national sectoral coordination and technical forums and develop sectoral partnerships.
- Supervise and manage the Food Security and Livelihoods team.
- Promote capitalization, technical development and research within the FSL Department.
Votre profil
You hold a master degree in agronomy, environmental sciences, biology or any other relevant discipline in Food, security & livehood and Emergency response Program
You have a minimum 5 years experience in FSL sector in the field of humanitarian cooperation in challenging context
You have an experience of team management with the ability to support and empower a large team.
You are proactive, creative and autonomous. You also are able to absorb important workload and work under pressure.
Knowledge of ACF internal process would be a plus!
You are fluent in english. Ukrainian and/or Russian) would be an asset.
